This was one of my favorite weddings because the bride is one of my favorite people. She found her "Mr. Darcy" and we all could not be more happy to witness their love story. The way Tommy loves Kristen in word and deed is better than her friends could have hoped and prayed for (and boy, were we praying!) They both had to move to New York City to find each other and the rest will most definitely be happily ever after. Church: Valley Presbyterian, Portola Valley

This was one of my favorite weddings because this couple exudes simple elegance. They are easy going yet pay great attention to detail. One detail eluded us all, however; when the bride tried to get into the reception venue to dress for her big day the door was locked. A quick phone call to a dear friend of mine had the entire bridal party descending on her charming Palo Alto cottage to don their wedding attire. Champagne was opened, memories were made, and I was very grateful for my dear old friend, and fast new ones. My friendship with J&J has grown over the years as Jason has become my number one DJ recommendation. I love the way he approaches a wedding as a groom first, and a vendor second. You’re both fabulous and I adore you!
This was one of my favorite weddings because I love to watch the way the bride looks at her groom. It is quite a distance, but her love grows with every inch her gaze must travel. Church: First Mission Church, Santa Clara University

Allison was a bridesmaid in a wedding I had done years earlier and when she got her ring, she called me to coordinate the lovely details of her lovely day. October in Livermore was warm and inviting with all the details falling perfectly into place. Allison even located a giant monogram of her new last name in the parking lot of the hotel. It’s a sign! Ellie planned everything and literally handed me her huge wedding binder the week of the wedding. They had done a wonderful job in the months prior, making my role on that gorgeous Saturday a breeze. In all of my years planning and attending weddings, I still consider this father of the bride’s toast my very favorite. Church: First Baptist, Los Altos

I can honestly say I've been planning her wedding in my heart for the last decade and I could not be happier that her mystery man is now a reality. Everything about this August Saturday on Treasure Island was beyond perfect! The weather, glorious; the bride, absolutely stunning; the friends, exuberant; the decor, crazy fabulous. With a clipboard in one hand and a bridesmaids bouquet in the other, I could not have been happier for this amazing couple. The superstars:

Andrew with his Southern hospitality and Naphy with her contagious joy. Their ceremony took place at the historic Ainsley House in Campbell followed by a parade through downtown - with a stop at Starbucks where the couple met - leading the guests to the reception. Upon my return to the Ainsley House after checking on the reception set up I found Naphy standing on the side of road in her wedding gown waving at passing cars! She confessed she just couldn't wait in a little room until her wedding started ~ she needed to be around people! Love her! Coordinator: It’s Your Day!

Keith Patrick Harrop is my favorite person in the whole world. He makes me smile with my heart and makes everything fabulous about my sweet little life possible . Thank you, darling.
From a wedding planning perspective, this was the simplest wedding in my repertoire. Only fifty of our nearest and dearest would fit in the chapel so our guest list was painstakingly reduced, we each chose just one attendant, a friend created bouquets with what she found at the flower market the day before, instead of dinner and dancing we had cake and champagne, I even borrowed the dress!! This was not thrown together at the last minute, but carefully planned with the desires of my sweet prince at the top of the list. We were saving to buy our first house in the San Francisco Bay Area so instead of serving dinner to all of our guests on April 8, 2000 we spent the following year inviting them to our home for dinner. It was a great way to really connect with dear friends and family and the perfect way to drag out the goodness for me. This was one of my favorite weddings because the couple, family and guests had SUCH a great time. The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony followed by dinner on the terraced decks, guests enjoyed the expansive lawns and danced the night away to the vocal meanderings of our favorite funk band. What a glorious summer day spent in the hills above Woodside at Mountain Terrace!
